Tyran Amiros is an Altaran Blue Oathsworn Asha'man of the Grey Tower.

Biography

Tyran Amiros was born in the small town of Barashta North, a day's ride from Ebou Dar in Altara. His father was a member of the Baker's Guild and therefore frequently visited the city on holidays. His mother was a Wise Woman, a channeler who had been kicked out of the Tower for failing the test for the Ring. His childhood was fairly normal for an Altaran lad, but early on, he showed speed and skill with the knife. When he was ten, he was involved in an altercation with the Guildmaster of the Guild of Knivesmen himself. Despite losing, the Master was so impressed with his skills that he bargained with Tyran's parents to allow him to train the in Guild. Tyran's training took eight years, in which he befriended many local nobles' children. At 16, he first discovered he could touch the One Power, but it wasn't until two years later that Tyran left to find the Fabled Black Tower.

He spent the better part of the next two years searching for the Tower and his journeys took him almost everywhere in the continent, including the Aiel Waste. Somehow, he managed to survive until he reached the Grey Tower almost two complete years after first setting out from Altara.
