The Grey Tower is an organisation where channellers of both genders work together to fight the Shadow and prepare for the Last Battle.
Initially established as a refuge where Aes Sedai from the White Tower and Asha'man from the Black Tower could learn to work together, it has grown to become a powerful political entity within the Westlands, surpassing both of its sibling towers.

Hierarchy
The Triumvirate
The Triumvirate are the leaders of the Grey Tower, and the Hall of Sitters. The Amyrlin Seat is the most senior Aes Sedai within the Grey Tower; the M'Hael is the most senior Asha'man; and the Master or Mistress of Arms is the most senior Gaidin.
The Keepers
The Amyrlin Seat and the M'Hael are each served by a Keeper. The Keeper of the Chronicles is the Amyrlin Seat's second-in-command, who's duties include being secretary to the Amyrlin and overseeing the official business of the Tower. Unlike the White Tower, Keepers are elected separately from Amyrlins. The M'Hael is served by the Keeper of the Archives, who fulfils a similar role to the Keeper of the Chronicles.
The Gaidin Captain
The Gaidin Captain is the Master of Arms' second-in-command, although their primary duty is to lead and oversee the unbonded Gaidin of the Tower.
The Hall of Sitters
The Hall of Sitters is the name of the ruling council of the Grey Tower, and is presided over by the Triumvirate. The Hall consists of twenty-four Sitters (three from each of the eight Ajahs) and three Warder Counsellors. Non-voting observers in the Hall include the Triumvirate, the Keepers, the Gaidin Captain, and the MoNSTers.
