Scerai Allon was a Kandori Gaidin of the Grey Tower.

Description

On the tall side of average for a man, Scerai keeps his hair long but simple and worn back in a low ponytail. His hair is dark, but now threaded with grey at the temples. His eyes are blue and stand out in a face that may once have been flush and round with youth but has been worn down into hard planes by long years and hard training.

Biography

Scerai Allon was born the son of the soldier, which was hardly uncommon in the Blightborder. He was an only child. Complications following his birth made it so that his mother would never again bear another, but they were lucky that they did not lose her all together. He was the light of their lives and he was raised to follow in his father's footsteps. Like all Borderlanders, he grew up strong and stubborn.

Yet when he was sixteen, something else happened that is tragically far too common: a Trolloc raid on the town of his birth. His father and his father's unit were slain, as was his mother and many others. Scerai himself escaped only because he was dragged away from the town by an escaping neighbor. He would never have left willingly.

Angry at the world, Scerai left the Borderlands to look for a new thread in the pattern to inhabit. Somehow, he ended up at the Grey Tower. He was not entirely sure how, for many months disappeared in a blur of agonizing and over-whelming grief. At the Tower, he discovered what could be a new path and a new goal in his life: to be a Warder. It was much like the path he would have walked, had things gone differently - a life like a soldier, but more focused and dedicated.

He would attain the fancloak, but it would not be until he met an outspoken and passionate young Blue named Sadira that his true destiny in life would be revealed. They would bond, and they would fall in love. What wounds had remained from the deaths of his family and the months of wandering, the ones that time had not healed, would be healed by her presence in his life and the goals they shared.

Together they would fight and survive many battles - some were of his province, and some were of hers and he would only stand by, ready to do what he needed to and supporting her in all things. They both know that they cannot save everyone, cannot not save the world or fight the Last Battle on their own, but they can and will die trying.
