Rilyn Naor is an Andoran Dedicated of the Grey Tower.

Description

Rilyn is six feet tall, with fair skin, dark hair, dark blue eyes, and an angular face that gives him a commanding presence. He has a small scar above his left eye from a sword fight a long time ago.

Rilyn is a loner, he prefers to work alone, but he will work with a group if necessary. He does not like to have conversations, and is less talkative than some fully trained Warders. However, this is mostly because of his upbringing, not necessarily because he dislikes people or is apathetic.

Biography

Rilyn grew up in Caemlyn as the son of a member of the Queen's Guard. His father was just short of earning the Heron Mark when Rilyn went to the tower, and while Rilyn never got quite that good, he did manage to become quite proficient with a longsword. One day, when he was angry at his father for not allowing him to go out that night, he burst a hair into flames, and at that point, they sent a message to the Tower, who sent someone to come and get him. He is a fast learner of the One Power, but he is unable to channel at a girl as of right now, due to his very chivalrous upbringing. While he was growing up, when his father was not home, he would take his sword with him into alleyways and look for fights, hoping to one day be as good as his father. At the age of seventeen, just before he channeled for the first time, he managed to defeat his father once by luck, and could stay 'alive' for at least twenty minutes against his father, before he was defeated. Whenever he heard the Grey Tower mentioned, he would always wish he could someday be an Asha'man, but if he couldn't then he would try and become a Warder, even though he was too old to go through the whole training. The Tower never inspired fear in him, but it did inspire awe. When he saw an Aes Sedai or an Asha'man, he would always be surprised that he could not estimate their age, but he could not find the courage to talk to one and ask them their age.
