Revelin Alder is a Ghealdanin Blue Oathsworn Aes Sedai of the Grey Tower.
Description
Revelin is tall, about 5'11, and has a bony body full of vigor from being an acrobat for several years. Her face is sharp and framed by dark brown hair and eyebrows in the same color. Her eyes are green and her nose a little bold, but the temper she possesses only fits with her looks.
Biography
Revelin was born and spent her early childhood in Jehanna, the capital city of Ghealdan. Her parents had an inn called River Blossoms, where she helped tending the horses and cleaning the guestrooms. She was bored by the routines though, and at the age of thirteen she left with her uncle after a visit of his, to work as an acrobat on his menagerie. They toured the countries down south, and Revelin loved that life. Her uncle Noren didn’t mind her there, and he cared for her as if she was his own daughter. Now and then they returned to Jehanna and the inn, and after a few years Revelin had gotten two younger sisters. Feeling more a family with the menagerie and her uncle, she never really cared to get to know them though.
Some years later, when they camped near a village in Amadicia, Revelin had quite a dispute with some whitecloaks who had decided to search the camp for "witches", as they put it. The young girl now tall and bony, full of temper and thoughts on what was right and wrong, acted very arrogantly and cheeky to the whitecloaks. This encounter left her uncle with large sums to pay to settle the argument, and an order to leave the country at once. Feeling full of guilt over her badly controlled outburst, Revelin decided to leave the menagerie and travel as an adventurer until she could pay back uncle Noren what she owed him.
She ended up in the Mountains of Mist, where she had heard about immense treasures waiting to be found behind every rock. She found none of those, but instead made her way to the Grey Tower where the Aes Sedai sensed the ability to channel resting inside her. After little discussion, Revelin was put in Novice white, and soon she had more on her hands than she wanted to.
