Filled with self hate and misplaced hate one the Shadow: No matter how good he can do something in his eyes it is still weak and worthless: He is not very open with anyone. He is cold and quite, until someone can get his respect: He likes anyone from the Borderland, or the Three Fold Land, he respects them for their fight with the Shadow: He will do or learn anything that will help him battle the Shadow or make him stronger.

Biography

When I was born I was given the name Drake Chohear, but almost 16 years later I vowed never to use it again. I took the name Oni as a symbol of what I see when I look at myself.

My Dad served in the Guard of my town. My Mother lived at home, taking care of me and my younger sisters. We lived a simple but happy life. As a child I played in the shadow of the Blight, as I got older I dreamed of joining the lances of my kingdom one day. My Dad would talk of war, when I played I would act out battle plans, because I lived with the harsh reality of the Shadow at my front door all I knew growing up was war.

However, the day before my 16th birthday my town was raided by the forces of the Shadow. They came over the walls in wave after wave. Our defenders did not have a chance. The horde stormed through the town, destroying and killing everything in its way.

It was on that blue skied day that I learned I could channel... The screams of the people, the howls of the Trollocs, the clash of steel on steel, the light of the fires... they filled me with the fear and rage I needed to unleash the One Power... When I awoke I was in the middle of the crater that had once been my town. My family, my friends, my home... I had turned all to ciders along with the Shadow Spawned. When I realized what I had done I lost part of my humanity, all that had been youthful and joyful within me died, it was replaced only with a hate for the Shadow and a need for redemption.

From the Plains of Lances in Kandor I traveled for a year to The Grey Tower. In the cool misty dawn I swing my eyes over the Tower, the one place where I can learn the skills I need to strike back at the Dark. But my eyes are not that of the person I was before I found I had the "gift" of The One Power, they are the eyes of the ghost I have become.

When asked for my name at the gates I merely said "Call me Oni."... Now I will learn the Power, and once I have, Shayol Ghul itself will fear my name! I live only to atone for my sin, I will purify myself by washing my hands in the blood of the Shadow.
