Moon Darewei is an Arafellin Novice of the Grey Tower.
Description
Most would call Moon a classic beauty. Golden hair falls down her back in a shock of tumbling curls. Wide, honey colored eyes express blankness most of the time, the _expression that was needed to fool her eccentric tutor and anxious mother, despite the obvious brightness that seeps out of the contours of her face. Her nose is straight, with a slight flare at the nostrils. Her lips are thin, but instead of decrease her beauty it increases the overall diversity of her features. Slight curves decorate her slim figure, and the outfits she usually wear are full of color and bells. She stands at about 5'7 and often uses vials to enhance her appearance.
Moon is very smart, and can usually realize ulterior motives immediatley. A hopeless romantic, she falls in love almost instantly and becomes very devoted, which is a definate falt of her. Moon is very eager to learn, and will try at anything to prove her point, and prove the simple fact that she's right. Moon is always ready to laugh, and is very sensitive most of the time. Moon's facial expressions are expecially amusing, scrunching her face up, chewing her lip and biting her tounge.
Moon is a wilder, with the very, very difficult block that she can only channel when drowsy, or fully asleep. It is a unconcious thing. Her strongest element is fire.
Biography
Moon was born in a small town in eastern Arafel to a widowed mother. The woman was loving and caring, but a bit over protective and over analyzed everything. They lived on a small farm, while Moon traveled to town to run errands when she was younger, as her mother was quite a hermit. There, she often visited the town Wisdom. The Wisdom found the ability in her at a young age, but didn’t really realize the talent she truly had.
At the age of ten, a man from Altara came to the small town and soon found interest in the child. He followed her home on one of her trips to visit the Wisdom, and found her mother. The man offered the woman free lessons for her daughter, and she accepted readily. Moon was a fast learner, and very content with the situation but really despised her tutor. He often gave her stealthy glances, and she was very cautious around him. Once, though, she fell asleep in the the middle of his lecture and the podium was on fire when she woke hearing his shrieks.
Often, strange people popped in and out of town, studying Moon for reasons she truly didn’t understand. One day when she was listening to her tutor drone on, se jumped up and ran towards her house, not knowing why. She saw her house, caught on flames. Calling her mothers name urgently, Moon fainted from the fumes. The whole town was swept with the fire, nothing escaping its fury. Nothing, that is, except for Moon and the visitor that day.
The visitor revealed that she was truly an Aes Sedai, and that her friend was a Warder. Her ‘tutor’ had actually been a Darkfriend, realizing her ability had stuck by her. She had caused the flames from an unconscious fear, and extremely smart as to be cautious around him. She also suggested that to avoid situations such as these that Moon enroll into a place where she could learn, where her ability could flourish. Moon agreed readily, knowing that there was no where else she could go. She left a month later, at the age of 15.
