Ithica d'ra Din is an Altaran.
Description
She is 5'6" with her hair slightly greying through her braid. She has sharp, piercing brown eyes. Her body is lean and tight like a whip cord. Her temper is vile, her mind is as sharp as the dagger she wields, and is as stubborn as a mule.
Biography
Ithica was a spunky youth. She got into more scrapes and duels than any of her peers. She liked daggers because she could hide them in her sleeves. She believed that fighting dirty meant you got to live longer. She knew of course about the honor one gave an opponent but she always assumed that they were going to cheat to win and she was just going to cheat first. She rarely lost a duel. And when she did, she would train hard for months and then go back to them and challenge them to a rematch. Then after she won she would tell them how they could improve before leaving. When she was just out of her teenage years she caught the eye of the Carpenter's son, Kale. And after a few months of heavy flirting she challenged him to a duel, his staff against her daggers. She won of course and got him to commit to the bonds of marriage. About two years after they were wed they brought Kailitha in to the world. Her name a combination of their own. But due to complications with Kai's birth she was unable to bear any more children. She still fights duels even in her aging body still manages to pull out wins from the younger girls seeking her place. She disapproved of her daughter's choice to be a florist, even if she knew that the current florist was a former assassin. She wanted her daughter to be a warrior like her and was pleased when Kale came with the idea to send Kailitha to the Grey Tower to be a Warder. Thinking rightly that it would make her a true Altaran.
