Biography

My name is Haschel Feldarian, and up until 3 weeks ago, I thought I knew who I was. Since I was 6 I have known Dariel and Marinda Feldarian as my parents, I don't remember anything before my 6th birthday and what I do remember is my parents telling me how proud they were to have a son. House Feldarian had become one of the most influential House in Tear and I was the heir to that influence and power, or at least, I thought I was. After 10 years living in a powerful Noble Family my world came crashing to a halt. It happened during the Feast Of Lights, as my family and i were leaving our estate, we were attacked by a group of thieves. They held my mother at knifepoint and demanded that my father hand over his money or she would die. As I stood there watching my mother's life being threatened, I felt a boiling inside as my anger grew, then anger was replaced by a sense of strength. When I realized how strong I felt I demanded that the men let my mother go, and as the words left my mouth 3 of the men burst into flames. The 2 that remained let my mother go and ran, but my life was over. My father told me that it was time for me to leave. When I asked why he merely said, "You are not our son, you were found by merchants near Cairhien and brought here. We took you in since we couldn't have children of our own, but now it is obvious that you do not belong here. You will be taken to a special school in the morning. DO NOT RETURN....EVER!!" Now, my story, and my search for the truth of my origin.... begins. However, as I am leaving Tear to be trained, I think of how this power cost me my family. i haven't been able to use any power since, not for lack of trying, maybe I am what they call "blocked". There is a part of me that wants to be able to use and control this power, but given that this power cost me my family and ended life as I knew it... the other part of me wants to forget I have it. What do I do now?
