The next morning, Telam and Liah en'Damier arrived at the Grey Tower. Their eyes wandered around the vast entrance hallway. Not long after they had arrived, a short Accepted from Carhien greeted them. "Welcome to the Grey Tower. What is it hat you desire?"

Telam spoke, "I am Telam en'Damier, and this is my wife Liah. We are Amora's parents, we were wondering . . ."

"Oh, then you wish to see Amora Sedai?" The young Accepted answered, her eyes sparkling. She was most likely to choose Blue once raised. Telam and Liah looked at each other, still not quite comfortable with the knowledge that their daughter could channel. After a moment, Liah nodded her head and the Accepted led the way to the new Blue Hall..

"Bloody wetlander dresses!! Why do you make them so impossible?!"

Amora tried to stand as firmly as she could, but Jel'viendha was making it nearly impossible. Her near-sister struggled with the strings of her wedding dress, and she tried to stay calm. But Jel' couldn't seem to get it tied right.

Jel' bit her tong. "Let me try one last thing . . ." Amora sighed.

"NO!! Don't do that!!" Amora's head turned to see Ilya standing in the doorway, flowers overflowing in her arms. "Here let me do it!" The nurse-maid dropped the flowers and took the golden strings from Jel'viendha. "Amora grab the bedpost." Amora did as instructed and held on tight. Ilya pulled the strings tightly and the dress felt like it fit better. "Good, like this. Do you see?" She asked Jel'viendha, who groaned and rolled her eyes. "There, finished."

Amora smiled. Yes, the dress fits much better now. She turned to look in the mirror made of water, air, and spirit.

It is beautiful!

The dress was a stunning shade of white Andorean silk. The bodice was a deep blue with golden scrolls embroidered along the edges. At the hem of the white skirt and the cuffs of the sleeves were bands of blue. Rolling down the sides of the long skirt were the same golden scrolls. They curled and spiraled at the hem. The almost impossible golden strings at the back of the bodice held the entire dress together. One pull and . . .

"I have helped four generations of brides of the en'Damier family into this same dress. You are lucky child that I remembered to bring it with me."

Amora's hair was woven into the ceremonial fashion of Whitebridge brides. Tiny gems sparkled in her hair like stars.

"Yes, thank you Ilya." Amora said, still stunned at her image in the mirror. The was a brief silence in the room, everyone was quite until a knock came at the door.

Jel' peeked through the crack in the doorway, making sure there was no groom in sight, then decided to let the two visitors in.

"Mother! Father?" Amora's face lit up. "I thought you weren't going to make it!"

"Of course we'd find our way here darling! It's your wedding day!" Liah took Amora into her arms and kissed her forehead. "Now no tears, that's for me dear." Her mother lectured.

"I missed you!" Amora said, unable to contain her happiness.

"We missed you too darling. Now, I have to find a good seat for the ceremony. I am so proud of you!" Liah smiled and walked down the hallway, following the Accepted.

"You look as beautiful as your mother did." Telam said, his fatherly grin warming his face. "I will see you after the ceremony Amora." He kissed her forehead and followed behind his wife.

"Ilya, is it time?"

"It is time dear. Let's get you married."

And with that, Amora's near-sister and nurse escorted her to the ceremony.

Light what a day!

The time had finally come. The wedding, the bonding, it was here. And it was now. The happiest day of his new life had finally come. He didn't know whether to laugh hysterically or cry joyously. We wove flows of Water, Air, and Spirit to make a mirror before him. Looking into the mirror, he saw himself looking more suitably than ever before. Dressed in a white silk shirt with plumes in the sleeves and at the chest and a red satin coat with herons and grapevines twining down the sleeves, he smiled as he brushed off a feather that had landed on him. Bending down, he picked the feather up and rolled it in his fingers. It was the feather of a dove and it was pure white. It was whiter than the cleanest novice dress. And it was as pure as the bird who dropped it. Today was the day that he and his lover, Amora en'Damier, would be wed and bonded. Nothing could stand in the way of the love in which they shared for each other. Before Jaisen dropped the weave for his mirror, he gave himself one more glance.

'Jaisen Davram. Today is your day. You look outstanding and your heart is going to be filled with joy for the rest of your life.'

Jaisen dropped the weave of the mirror and turned around to stare at his room one last time. He looked at his bed to see his shield and sword lying there. The wolf-head shield that Amora made for him sat there, they eyes glowing bright as ever. They winked at him, as though they were sharing the happiness with him. The sword, one which he made for himself before becoming Asha'man. Before he had even made it to the Grey Tower. Not a weapon to harm man, but a weapon to save his future Aes Sedai from any harm which may come to her. He strapped the shield onto his back, and the sword to his hip and he began reciting the words over and over in his mind. The words which he was going to say to Amora in front of the Creator and everyone. A tap came at his door from one of the serving maids.

"It is time to go now Jaisen Asha'man," the serving maid called to him.

Jaisen made his voice sound strong. "OK. I'll be right out." Taking one last look around his room, he turned to the door. With one deep breath, he opened it and started out into the hallway. Walking down the hall, on his way to the courtyard, every serving maid who saw him, bowed down to him, heads lowered. He raised his hand to his collar, fingering the Dragon pin and the sword pin on the opposite collar. He worked hard for those pins, and he was proud of them. It made him feel as though he had made a very important life achievement. For if he hadn't earned them, this day would not even be happening today. The end of the hall came before he knew it and he was walking into the courtyard to begin the ceremony. He stopped and gasped when he reached the brim of the courtyard. Everyone was there, with smiling faces and some with teary eyes, as they were happy for him and his soon-to-be wife and Aes Sedai. He heard whispers among the crowd, talking about how handsome he looked all dressed up in his best formal wear. He chuckled slightly to himself. Yes, this is definitely going to be the best day of my life. Before he headed up front, he walked over to Kayla and handed her the two wedding rings that he had made. He had inscribed in them a hummingbird flying towards a wolf on a field of lilies.

"Are you OK with this Kayla?" Kayla nodded her head wildly.

"Yes Da. I'm happy for you and happy that I will have a mother again."

Jaisen smiled down to her and said, "And she will be more than happy to have you as her daughter as well. I love you Kayla."

She smiled back. "I love you too Da." With that, he walked up to the front, where the Amyrlin and M'Hael were waiting. He shook the M'Hael's hand and received a pat on the shoulder from him and then the Amyrlin came to him and hugged him, wishing him the best wishes. He smiled and turned to the crowd, waiting for his love, Amora en'Damier, to make her appearance.

Amora is about to go into the courtyard where the wedding was being held. Jel*viendha just barely managed to stop her in time. "Near-sister!" Amora turns around, looking lovely in her heirloom wedding gown.

"Yes, Jel?"

"I have something for you..." Out of her pouch, Jel*viendha draws a beautiful necklace, made of five strands of silver, each different lengths, and strewn carefully with doves made of mother-of-pearl. Each dove is at least an inch apart from the others on its strand, giving the impression of a flock of birds in flight. Amora gasps in awe as Jel*viendha fastens it about her neck. "This is my own heirloom, passed down through my mother*s family. It is," she pauses and winks at her near-sister, "a guaranteed fertility necklace. Wear it once, and within the year you will be blessed with a child - or children!" Jel*viendha laughs Amora*s statement - stunned, but then slowly starting to smile, thinking about the future. "Give Kayla second-sisters and brothers, Amora, and surprise the Light out of Jaisen!"

Amora giggles. "I would like to see his face when I tell him what the necklace does..." They both howl with laughter.

Finally wiping tears from their eyes, Amora and Jel*viendha embrace. "Light illuminate your marriage, near-sister, I know he will be good for you."

"Thank you, near-sister," Amora replies warmly, then steps into the courtyard.

Jel' trotted up to the beginning of the aisle. She turned and winked at her near-sister and began walking up. She took her place next some of Amora's friends, Karyna, Kahlan, Mekare, Alanna, Ambrese . . the list went on. Jel'viendha stood next to Nevelyn. Beside her was Keyeren, to his right were the Warders of some of Amora's and Jaisen's friends. Ja'landrai, Kopay, Sejan, and a few others she knew.

The butterflies in her stomach fluttered more violently when the music started. Amora could see Jaisen at the end of the aisle, waiting. He looked so handsome in his red coat! Kayla stood near, the rings upon a small cushion. She fingered the bird necklace without thinking for a moment, remembering the day he promised himself to her. She sighed.

Amora checked her hair, gown, necklace, everything. She wondered if it would be a good idea to embrace saidar as she walked, but decided against it. The moment was powerful enough. Finally, she set her mind at ease and thought of her love for Jaisen, and how good it felt to have all of her friends and parents here. She began walking.

The music changed. The crowd watched her. Faces she knew, some she didn't all watched. Some were crying, Amora tried to keep a steady pace under their gaze smiled at them. Her parents smiled proudly and her mother cried, the gems in her hair bobbing. Amora smiled warmly at them.

Finally she reached the end and stepped up before Nevelyn and Keyeren. Key hugged her warmly and Neve kissed her cheek. Jel' winked at her, and her friends smiled, even Kayla. Amora took Jaisen's hand and looked into his eyes. His smile warmed her heart under those candle-lit eyes. She loved him.

Jaisen looked up to see Amora and his mouth dropped open. She was the most beautiful sight he had ever seen, and with her in this dress today, everything he ever thought pure was materialized in her presence. Kayla looked up to Jaisen, and laughed silently to herself. She shook his arm and whispered, "Close your mouth da, or you're going to drool all over your silk shirt. She is beautiful though father."

Jaisen shook his head to come to his senses. "Yes my dear Kayla, beautiful she is. Although, I think that's an understatement." He smiled warmly as she walked up beside him. He nodded very approvingly to his love. His golden eyes were burning with a fire that was so passionate that nothing could put it out. He mouthed the word beautiful and she smiled brightly, eyes gleaming with so much joy and happiness.

And the ceremony began....

The Wheel of Times turns and the Ages come and pass. Leaving weddings that become legend, legend fades to myth, and even the parent's union is long forgotten when the children that gave it birth come again. In one Age, called the third Age by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose in the Courtyard of the Grey Tower amongst the joining of two souls. The wedding was not the beginning, there are neither beginnings not endings to the endless marriages you attend in your 20's, but it was a beginning.

Nevelyn would first take the vows from Amora, and then Keyeren would take the vows from Jaisen. Nevelyn spoke of the responsibilities of a wife. Her voice was musical and rang through out the courtyard. Everyone listened intently to her words. But all Amora could think of was Jaisen . . .

She watched him from the corner of her eye, but still heard Nevelyn's words. He looked so handsome in his suit. She longed to be closer, but felt the weight of this moment. She thought he saw her watching him, but right at that moment.

"Amora, did you hear what I said?"

Amora's eyes snapped back. "Yes Mother."

"Do you take this man to your husband. To be united with him and only him, through thick and thin, through sickness and health, though poverty and wealth, though stilling or channeling, to love him and cherish him, to honor your marriage, everywhere under the Light, through every turning of the Wheel?"

"I love him with all of my heart, Mother. I do." Amora smiled, every word as true as her eyes were green. The Amyrlin nodded and Keyeren spoke.

The time had finally come. The wedding of Jaisen Davram and Amora en'Damier. Neve and Keyeren had already went through Amora's vows, and now it was Jaisen's turn. Jaisen's hand slightly shook as he was holding Amora's hands in his own. Jaisen knelt down on one knee in front of Amora, and kissed her hand gently, smiling warmly up to her. He looked up to Keyeren and slightly nodded his head for him to continue with the ceremony. Keyeren smiled and continued, "Do you take this woman to be your wife? To be united with her and only her, through thick and thin, through sickness and in health, through poverty and in wealth, through gentling or channeling, to love her and cherish her, to honor your marriage, everywhere under the Light, through every turning of the Wheel of Time?"

"I do. With all my heart and all my life." Neve and Keyeren nodded and simultaneously said, "Then on this day, under the Light, we pronounce you husband and wife. Jaisen, you may kiss your newly wedded wife."

This was it. Jaisen and Amora Davram. They were one. The marriage complete and the bonding was about to happen, but Jaisen had something else in mind before the bonding started. Jaisen unsheathed his sword, and with the blade face down, drove it into the ground between him and Amora. The wolf-head was facing her, the two golden eyes on it glowing. He channeled two flows of Spirit through the eyes, and a flow of Fire through the mouth of the wolf-head. The flows combined into one inside the wolf-head. He held the flow, looked up to her with a single tear trickling down his cheek, and began reciting the words to her that he had been going over in his mind up until this moment.

"Amora en'Damier Davram. My wife. The time has finally been reached. The day in which I have been waiting for from the day I first laid eyes on you. We are now husband and wife. Before we become bonded, I have a bonding of my own which I would like to do. I know you cannot see the flows I am channeling right now, and I am glad, for what I am about to do, I do not want you doing the same. This is a flow that I came up with and I have named it the Flow of the Soul. Today, you have given me everything that you could. You have given me your heart, your soul, and everything that you are. I have given you the same in return, yet there is but one more thing that I want to share with you. On this day, at this moment, we are one."

Jaisen let the flows go from the wolf-head into Amora and as he channeled the flows into her, he spoke. "Amora en'Damier Davram, with this flow, our hearts, our souls, are one. On the same instant that your heart stops, mine shall stop as well. On the same instant when your soul departs your body, mine shall depart as well. This flow is completely different than the Warder bonding, for it has melded us into one. I love you my wife, my Aes Sedai, and on this day, I not only give you my heart and my service, I give you my life. Through the heat of battle, through the casualties of war, through the cold of winter, I am by your side. My blade is your protection, and my shield, your guardian. Amora Aes Sedai, I give you permission, to bond me as your Warder."

Jaisen bowed his head at Amora's feet and surrendered himself to her.

Amora gasped.

The whispers of the crowd and her friends never reached her ears. Nothing existed but her and her husband. He knelt before her, sword in hand.

She could still feel the effects of his weave. It was as if it was still echoing through her. She took a deep breath and waited for it to reside and settle within her.

She was . . . . stunned above all else. It made here eyes water to think of how devoted he was to her. But, she felt scared for him. She had hoped that had she died, he might live on, though slim a chance it was . . But, this also felt right. They had already been like one person, but more so now. She knew that she would crumble if he never walked the earth again, she could never be whole. . . . She could understand why he had done it. But was still surprised that he felt that deeply . . . for her.

Her mind was a tangle of emotions and thoughts. But he looked so sure of himself, that he had made the right choice. She trusted him with their life. But why wouldn't he allow her to do the same for him?

All of this happened in mere moments. But felt like forever. Her husband, her soul, her life knelt before her; ready to become bonded.

"Thank you, Jaisen." She whispered, knowing only he could hear those words.

Almost instinctively, she reached out to him. Amora took his head in her hands. Their eyes met, soul touching soul. He waited.

Amora held his chin on her left palm and placed her right hand on his forehead. The weave she had practiced over and over in private seemed to flow out of her fingers and into him.

She closed her eyes for a moment, but when she opened them she felt different. No longer was she alone. His emotions mingled with hers, but were fenced off. The first impressions she got of his emotions was . . . awe and wonder . . then happiness. He must be feeling hers.

Her hands left his face and took his hands in her own. "Rise my Gaiden and husband, and meet your Aes Sedai and wife." She smiled at the last sentence and realized that she had stopped breathing.

"Under the Light, and the Creator's hand, you are husband and wife, Aes Sedai and Warder, for the eternal turnings of the Wheel of Time. You may now kiss the bride." Keyeren and Nevelyn said in unison.

Kayla gingerly presented the rings. Amora took Jaisen's ring and slipped it onto his finger, and he did the same for hers. They seemed to twinkle. Then they held hands and he kissed her. Sealing the ceremony.
