The raven-haired beauty was not one to readily admit that she was mistaken.

Green eyes glanced around the Infirmary and Kaia felt herself smile a little, the plump form of Lyesia nearby. The Red had not thought to find herself a part of - well anything, so soon after her recent arrival, much less exploring a new way to use the Power. The Grey Tower had not ceased to surprise her. And in this instance, she... was glad to have been mistaken.

Perhaps if she had come here first, been mentored and guided beneath Sisters such as Lyesia... Kaia forcefully stopped her thoughts from progressing further. It was pointless to speculate. The Wheel wove as It willed. And yet there were moments, like this one, where she couldn't stop herself from wondering how different things might have been had she been discovered by the Grey and not the White. How much would have changed? How different would she be? Would she have ever... Coal-black eyes danced through her head and she pushed herself away from that image even as her heart began to pound.

Kaia couldn't quite hide the swell of emotion she felt, but to her relief, no one was paying her any particular attention. Coppery fingers gave the red slashed skirts she wore an impatient twitch, the motion helping her bring her expression back in line with the serene stillness she sought. She didn't exactly look to Lyesia for permission to embrace, but there was that moment of hesitation as saidar filled her that was only assuaged when the plump woman directed a nod back towards her. Light, she was acting as if she was an Accepted all over again.

The Red Aes Sedai approached the young man seated on the narrow bed nearest to her, the Domani allowing the expression on her face to soften as she took in the bruised temple, the dried trail of blood that snaked down one side of his face, the way he held himself in obvious pain. Glassy eyes gazed back at her, the boy blinking at intervals that seemed odd as she studied him. Sparring accident. The hazards of the Warder Yards.

“I am going to find out the extent of your injuries,” she told him as gently as she could, the velvet of her voice soothing, “and it might feel a little strange at first.” Kaia's Delving was rudimentary at best, never having really had the chance to develop it, but she understood the concept and application of it; it was only prudent to 'see' what she was trying to Heal, after all, before actually Healing it. She felt a thread of amusement curl around her at that. Minor bouts of logic were bound to happen from time to time.

She separated out a flow of Spirit and wove it into the necessary shape. She passed it over the boy several times, murmuring out a faint warning when the time came to pass it through him. He shuddered, Kaia only noticing because of the way her senses were enhanced by her hold on the Source. Gingerly, she felt along the thread that made her aware of the painful bruise on the side of his head, the split scalp, the knot along his skull that was otherwise fine. His body bore no other injuries that she could sense and as she withdrew her 'touch'.

The petite woman brought all five Powers to bear, the intertwining cascade of flows and colours a thing of absolute awe. She directed the wave of threads towards the boy's head. It was the same as the Healing she had learned at the White Tower in that flesh mended and the injuries disappeared, but it was also completely different in that the act did not draw strength from the channeler themselves, but from the Source itself. Lyesia passed behind the petite Domani, a soft word of praise sounding, before the plump woman moved on to the next thing that needed the Yellow's attention. Kaia repressed the smile of excitement and remaining focused on the task at hand.
