Aiko stared at the horizon. She missed the sight of the Grey Tower. It was there. Just a few miles away. Home at last.

She had been away for quite some time, and it was not a memory she wished she had.

Polla Sedai had whisked her away, and given her a freedom to explore her abilities. She had kept a vigelance on her studies; even if the trip was to Heal her brother.

Aiko turned, and looked at Isaac. He had red rimmed puffy eyes, and a distant look on his face. He had looked that way since they had found out he had compulsion place on him. It was more than she could take remembering the pain he went through removing those weaves.

She never imagined that the trip would have cost anything; maybe the death of her brother, but she had already prepared herself for that. The loss that they had to endure to save him was stagering to say the least.

She had seen an Asha'man die. She had seen Two Aes Sedai die. They died at the hands of a black sister; that happened to be her mother. She had sworn to the others to never mention the name of that woman with oaths strong enough to keep her tounge still for the rest of her life.

It had been Aiko that solved the puzzel of her brother. She seemed to have other Talents other than Healing. They had to be tested when she was finally back in the safe confines of the Grey Tower.

It had been her that found the subtle weave that encompassed Isaac's mind. And it had been her that saved him. One look at him made her question whether he had been saved.

Polla Sedai signaled for them for them to move forward again. She let Cloud lead the way; she was far to exhausted to even think.

It was a half a days ride to the Grey Tower. Just a half a day, and she would go back to her normal duties as a Tower initiate. It sounded like heaven to her. There would be no running through the night after a Black sister that wanted to kill the lot of them.

She still had no idea how she would be when she finally returned. Was she to be punnished... was she to be cast out for leaving. Polla Sedai said she would have her safely returned, but there was always doubt nagging her. Aes Sedai protected themselves.

The soft gate of Clouds gate soothed her. She let her eyes close.

The night that everything came to light filled her mind.

Saraea Sedai had been tending to Isaac the most. She insisted on being by his side almost always. She even slept in short shifts to be there. She seemed to have a calming effect on him.

Aiko was given a longer leash than the normal Accepted. She was allowed to Delve her brother without permission, and she was allowed to link in the circles that they formed to fix him.

She was restless that night, and she had to see him. Saraea Sedai was there that evening like always, and because of Polla Sedai's influance the small Brown moved away to let her be with her brother.

Aiko looked into his feveish eyes. He was muttering to his self. Something about her hands touching his skin. Her skinned crawled at that. It was too much like her trip into becoming Accepted.

On a whim, she embraced Saidar. She touched his forehead, and sent all Five Powers into his body. She Delved him from head to toe. If there was something they had missed she had to find it.

The Delving touched his brain in the softest manner. She tilted her head. There was something there. A lace work of Saidar. It was intricate as anything she had seen done with Healing, but there was something more to it.

She had a second to think when she felt Saraea embrace. She did not even have a chance to look up. She was whipped across the room and lost Saidar in the process. The shield settled on her. She was helpless.

She looked at the Aes Sedai, but remaind on the floor.

"You had to poke around," Saraea said crossing the room to Isaac,s bed. "I set my plans in motion long ago. You were to be turned as well, but you could not stay out of the way." She shook her head tisking as she did so.

Aiko stood slowly, she touch the shield holding her. She was not strong enough to break it, but she was not going to be on the ground before this woman.

"So, you have been the one keeping him like this? You are the one that made him into this?" Aiko watch Saraea smirk.

"I am mearly doing the bidding of my master. No need to worry you will be joining your brother soon." Aiko saw the weave form, and reach out for her. She had to stop this.

Aiko bolted for the Aes Sedai. The look of suprise was satisfactory. Aiko balled her fist, and hit the woman before she could recover. She gulped when her sheild was released.

She let Saidar flood into her. She gather thick flows of Air and slid the woman to the other side of the room. Saraea seemed to be stunned at the movement, so Aiko did the only thing she could do...scream.

Brennon Asha'man and Lieselle burst into the room. She could see the halo of Saidar around Lieselle, but she hope the Asha'man held Saiden.

"She has been doing this to Isaac, and she tried to do something to me."

"Girl, what would a Sister do to you?

They both look at Aiko. She was fill with the power to the point of pain. She wanted to be ready for another shield thrown at her, and she did not care about the stern look Lieselle was throwing at her. She was standing ready.

Lieselle's question was never meant to be answered.

Saraea's imaged shimmered, and what was left was a handsome woman with golden green eyes. She stood fluidly, and flames egulfed the Asha'man. Aiko barely held on to Saidar, but she was still filled to the brink.

Lieselle Sent a flow of Air to bind Saraea, but the woman sliced it some how. She then sent whips of Air at the wall in front of her, and ran into the night.

The rest of the year had been spent tracking the woman. Aiko shivered.

She could not wait to step foot back into that Tower, even if it was as safe as the rest of the world.
