Elean Vynar is a Kandori Drin of the Grey Tower.
Description
He is just on the verge of being in the tall category at just over six feet. He has thick, Dark brown hair that he keeps short, and he always has a perpetual layer of stubble on his face. A good descriptor for him would be tidy. Even his stature could be considered tidy. He is all lean muscle, broad chest and shoulders, and always moves with a purpose, never more than is necessary, and due to many factors, he has a gliding stride that is just shy of an arrogant swagger. Elean prefers things to be in order. Not on an obsessive level, but he is much more at ease when things are in their place. His clothing is always well kept, and he has a tendency of checking his appearance. He’s no narcissist. He is just making sure he looks presentable. He has an easy manner with people, but to much exposure will exhaust him, and he will quietly slip away to be away from people for a minute. He has two wolf companions, one male and one female. He has a great desire to learn, in a general sense, and is always willing to try something new. That doesn’t me he wants to be cooped up indoors all the time. He enjoys fighting, in the purest sense, between two people. Skill versus skill. He feels alive during a fight and you can often see a smile on his face, and might even hear him laughing.
Biography
Elean was born into a Traveling Circus, but his parents, who were members of the show, were from Kandor. He grew up learning many different things from the other members of his “family”, like horsemanship from the horse handlers, the basics of conventional healing and herbcraft from the wife of the shows leader (but he never showed much of a knack for it). He learned to care for some of the more dangerous animals in the menagerie, but due to his age, he rarely did that. What he excelled at was being an Acrobat. By the age of 10, he was able to pull off very intricate displays of skill and agility far beyond other boys his age, and by fifteen, was a full performing acrobat. The resident juggler taught him knife throwing, and he had quite a bit of skill in that as well.
Around the age of 19, he began showing signs of Wolfkin, and he and his parents decided that it would be best if he went on his own way. Having someone with his abilities was going to draw unwanted attention sooner or later. So he packed up his things and left the Traveling show.
He adopted the life of a nomad, never staying in one place for to long. He took odd jobs here and there, and he ended up becoming a prize fighter (unarmed) for roughly two years. That was the longest he’s ever stayed in one place. He developed a love of fighting, and revels in it. He believes there is nothing more real than two people dueling.
He is skilled at fighting with hands and feet, and also has skill with throwing knives. His fighting style is a balance of Acrobatics and hand-to-hand combat, able to throw his knives in mid flip, or upside down, and then seamlessly flowing back into hands and feet. He carries a tanto blade on his lower back, and none of his throwing knives are hidden. He has quite a few. He picked up the Bow along the way in his travels, but isn’t the greatest shot as of yet. It still comes in handy. His riding is a bit rusty due to usually running or walking with his wolves.
About three years into his nomadic he met his two pack mates. He had stopped at a library in his travels, but not much info was available. At this point he had been able to fully communicate with the wolves and was in full acceptance of what he was.The wolves have given Him the name Night Singer, as he was able to mimic the song of a Nightingale, and his laughter during a hunt or fight. He met many wolves along the way, but none joined with him until he met bonded pair Moon Shadow, and Leaping Hare.
After six years of living as a nomad, he heard of the Grey Tower, and decided to go there, learn new things, and take a break from the wanderers life. Who knows what might happen.
