Chayri Iu'azi (born Chayri Weameth) is a Cairhienin Novice of the Grey Tower.

Biography

Growing up in a noble household in Cairhien, Chayri Weameth was surrounded by servants and not the love of her parents. As a little girl it didn't affect her life, she had her brother to play with and all the toys and pretty flower clothing a little girl could want. But it was after a few years, when Chayri attended a gathering at a friend's house that she realized the distance between her and her parents. There was never a word of encouragement, a word of love, or a word of care from her parents. All they ever cared about was their stupid game. Maybe, it was due to Chayri's examining of her parents' actions that she wished she were poor instead. Then her parents would have nothing to brag about and maybe have time to love their children. She had thought about running away, running to a place where there were no such people who wanted to show everyone their lavish house and property. But her older brother was the one that kept her from making the thoughts become reality. He is 5 years older and acts like a protective father, the father she never had. He always helped her cope with problems and face their parents when they had a few seconds to demolish Chayri for her disobedience towards them.

Chayri has long, wavy black hair and large brown eyes with hint of dark green on the rim. Like her brother, her large, slightly tilted brown eyes with hint of dark green on the rim and the dark long lashes catches the attention of anyone near her. She is 5'4" and moves with such dignity and grace that sometimes people think she's floating in the air. When the girl started to faint and move around heavily as if there were weights on her shoulders, everyone who had meet her knew something was wrong. It just so happens an Aes Sedai passed through the area and was asked to help Chayri, for the fainting spells were becoming more frequent. During healing, the Aes Sedai realized the young girl was fainting from touching the True Source without guidance and it was overwhelming her body. Reluctantly, not wanting to part from her dear brother, Chayri was brought to the Tower to be trained and guided.
