Amairwyn Serenya is a Shienaran Brown Oathsworn Aes Sedai of the Grey Tower.

Description

Amairwyn Serenya is of average height- around 5’5- with long, brown hair and green eyes.

Personality-wise, she isn’t the same Aes Sedai who left the Grey Tower several years ago. She’s still friendly enough, but is harder and less naïve, and less apt to smile or laugh. Her temper has also become somewhat shorter.

However, she is still a Brown, and still just as likely to be found in the library or deeply involved in some research project or another.

Biography

I was born in the Borderland country of Shienar, in the capital of Fal Moran. I lived there for most of my life, except for yearly trips to Fal Dara. My father, Tegid, is one of the warlords of King Easar Togita; my mother Ynore, was once a fierce warrior as well, defying what Shienaran noblewomen were supposed to be. Though I have a younger sister, Aine, I have no brothers. My family belongs to the nobility, and are distantly related to the royal family, though not close enough to claim royalty themselves.

I am a channeler with the spark inborn, and first learned I could channel a few months after my sixteenth birthday. I have been told by Aes Sedai I am fairly strong in the One Power. It was a rainy day and I had decided to go to the library and read for a few hours. I was upstairs sitting on one of the balconies when I accidentally dropped my book over the edge onto the ground below. Frustrated, I remember thinking how nice it would be if I could bring it to me instead of having to go outside in the rain. The next thing I knew, my book was floating up to me. Stunned- since no one in our family has ever has the ability to channel- I screamed, and brought my father running. When he learned what had happened, he was first proud, then worried. Concerned that it would get it out of control, he sent me off to the Grey Tower two days later. The journey here was not easy; we met bands of trollocs and were forced to do battle. I did not take part, even though I have been trained to use the bow. I can defend myself, however I am a peaceful person, and do not like fighting or war. Unfortunately, living in the Borderlands, you see a lot of this. It influences almost everything we do.

I am aspiring to the Brown Ajah because I have a love of history, books, and languages, as well as an interest in studying the Blight to see what can be done about it. I also enjoy music and animals. I am typically quiet (sometimes people say I am too quiet) and mild-mannered, though can have a temper if upset enough. I can also be restless and have a love of travel. In appearance, I am tall and thin , with long, brown hair and green eyes.
